welcome to the little whimsical corner of my site~ i love the
whimsy of 90's websites + lots and lots of medieval/magical media,
therefore i wanted to do my own project inspired by them. im also a huge anime fan... ive been watching anime since i can remember! i love to get lost in the colorful worlds of each show, invested in the plot for hours. my love for anime is what drives me to be full of whimsy. adult life can be boring and muted, i want to keep my imagination and whimsy flowing forever~! this page is also where i hold my shrines, and other nerdy interests of mine.
as i get older, i find myself slowing falling out of love with the interests i used to have; my favorite colors and animals changing; color slowly leaving my room, desktop, clothing. yet every-now-and-then, i come to the realization that--there is no "true" way to live your life. sure, you can become an adult, get a job, have a family, but this doesnt mean you have to lose the things you once loved that are deemed as "too childish". you only have one life, live it to its full extent! i do this by watching the shows i loved as a kid--shows like adventure time, sailor moon, cardcaptor sakura, my little pony, and so much more. of course you dont have to simply revert back to your childhood shows & movies, theres plenty of whimsical media you havent consumed yet! not everything is 'made for kids'. movies like tangled, the princess bride, and peau d'ane are some of my favorites. in conclusion, dress in as many colors as you want, watch what you want, have a sweet treat at the end of the day. enjoying life is how i keep my whimsy.
